The future is fast approaching

Caught up in an information culture.

About

This site is partly my personal sketchbook – notes I want to find later, things I mentally process as I write.  And it’s partly a slowly-developing set of thoughts about the concept of the information culture – more than a set of tools, products, and processes, a world formerly divided into “information technology”, “the creative class”, the technology professionals, and the general public.  The information culture is something we’re all a part of now.  We all work with massive amounts of information, we all work with technology that had the professionals drooling a couple of decades ago.  Also, I might just mention film.
